Dr. Bin Gui is a system scientist with a strong background in analyzing complex systems and developing practical solutions. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, Bin has a solid foundation in programming and data analysis, which he applies to his work in transportation projects.

Bin joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2020 and has since contributed to multiple transportation projects. Through diligent work and collaboration, Bin has helped deliver complex projects within their respective deadlines. His expertise includes large-scale network simulation, real-time traffic prediction, and web development, with proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks.

Bin values interdisciplinary collaboration and strives to work effectively with diverse teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. He continually seeks to improve his communication skills to better convey complex concepts in an accessible manner, positioning himself as a reliable systems educator and consultant.
